Sorry but I just got really overwhelmed and never got around to posting for the last week. I also began a new project that has taken up a lot of my time.
Like I've mentioned before, HYIP investing takes a lot of time and is somewhat stressful as well.
I've thought about retiring this blog and just leaving it up as a reference since I have collected and posted quite a bit of helpful information but I don't think I'm done quite yet.
What made this worse was that I just started an investment in On-LineEarn.com (which turned out to be a scam, I'll write more about that later today) so I'm sorry I left you guys hanging there.
I don't think I'll be doing too much HYIP investing from now on but I may post other information about HYIPs along with the odd HYIP I join now and then.

Everything is going great so far. The payout to deposit percentage is at a very tiny 2.3% and they are still advertising on TalkGold.
I have earned $1.25 in ref commission and will be reinvesting it along with my $11 in earnings. Unfortunately for some strange reason they do not allow you to reinvest with your account balance so I have to wait to get my withdrawl to eGold before I can reinvest.
This is very inconvenient and I have no idea why they don't allow you to reinvest from your account balance.

This HYIP is a little different in that it is based off of rounds. In other words it will go until the payout to deposit percentage is at a certain point (In this case 90%) and then stop and restart with a new round.
It truly is a very interesting concept and eliminates the admin running with the money factor involved with most HYIPs. I am very optimistic about this type of HYIP but really am not quite sure how it is going to work out.
Since I don't have to worry about the admin running with the money I will also have to play it slightly different.
There wouldn't be much difference except they already completed round one and just started round 2.

I have invested $20 in the 55% daily for 2 days plan. If you are going to invest be sure to do so in this plan. You will make a lot more doing this for 3 days than to do the 3 day plan that they have.
I debated about the amount I was going to put in for a few minutes because it almost feels like I'm going in blind but there are some strong positive factors that pushed me to spend $20 instead of less.
These factors include a banner advertising campaign on the TalkGold forums. Today was the first time I saw their banner. Plus they have great positive support in the forums. I feel this round will grow bigger than the first with more members joining from ads and word of mouth and feel that it has a decent shot of lasting longer than the first round which if it does I will be making some very good profits with this.
With this type of HYIP it will much easier for me to determine how the change in payout to deposit percentage affects my reinvestment.
I think this will be very fun and profitable. I can't wait to see the results.
The best news is that I can continue to play this same HYIP over and over again as new rounds start and won't have to jump to new ones all the time.
You MUST Do Your Own Due Dilligence
Before deciding to invest in any program that I currently am in your MUST do your own due dilligence.
I have heard from a couple people on the forums who are disgruntled with me because they lost money in the HYIPs I joined myself.
The problem is that HYIP investments change really fast with the type of programs I am dealing with so I can in no way guarentee a HYIP is still a good investment at the time you join.
This is why you must do your own due dilligence to determine if it is still a good investment.
Please don't take the HYIPs I list as 'picks' that are likely to succeed. I only list the HYIPs I have joined and do not recommend you join them too. That is completely your decision.
Remember that to succeed in the HYIP market you must put in the time and effort yourself.
If you can do this, you can succeed.
My Strategy Update
Up to now I feel my strategy has worked better than I originally expected. Granted I've only participated in 6 different HYIPs I still feel this is enough to prove that I'm at least on to something with my strategy.
Overall I have won money in 5 of the 6 HYIPs I participated in and the one that I lost in I lost because I got too cocky and went off my strategy.
Since the last update I've accumulated the following profits after fees:

AlpsFinance: $4.79
FirmHYIP: $8.60
Ref Commission: $1.2
Total new profits: $15.8
Overall Profit: $18.9
Overall Ref Commission: $4.2
My profits now total $18.9 and since I currently have no active investments I have about $169 in my eGold account.
This means that using my HYIP investment strategy I have turned $150 into $169 (excluding ref commission) or achieved a 12.6% profit in only 18 days.
Think about that return for a second. That is absolutely amazing for only 18 days. Now imagine if I had invested in twice as many HYIPs and won in 10 of 12. That profit could possibly be double to 25%.
I am very pleased with my strategy and just wish I had more time to invest in HYIPs because I feel I could increase my account balance much, much faster.
Oh well... at least this shows that my strategy does work. I just can't wait to see what my success is like after 100 HYIPs.
FirmHYIP is a Scam
I apologize for my post yesterday, it made it seem like FH was still legit when in reality it had probably already stopped paying.
I should've taken the time to check the forums to see what people were saying about it.
I'll try to keep something like this from happening in the future.

Payout Received From AlpsFinance
I have now received my payment from AF. I turned my original $10 investment into $15 ($14.79 after fees) in 15 days.
This HYIP was quite a bit different than all the rest I've been in because it was more long term but to reiterate, I had received a reliable tip from another HYIP investor and everything about the program showed that it was going to be a great investment.
In fact, it still may be a great investment. A HYIP like this can last for many, many months especially the way unit sales have been going. But the fact is that you just never know and at this point in the game I have no idea what is going to happen so therefore I'm not going to reinvest.
My specialty is playing HYIPs in the early stages, once it goes past this stage my strategy isn't backed up in any way, which means I can't be sure that the odds are in my favor, which means I can't put money on it.

SolaHYIPSolaHYIP is dead but I forgot to update on the fact that I made $13 off of my $10 investment in the paid daily plan. That was $12.35 after fees so a $2.35 profit.

SolaHYIPSolaHYIP is officially a scam. Why their site is still up I don't know but I feel I played this HYIP very well.

Over 1300 units were purchased. They are still selling like hot cakes, this may have been excentuated by the fact that AF is offering an additional 5% bonus per unit.
I personally take this as a very bad sign because it may be a ploy to draw in a ton of new investments right before they scam. Needless to say, I won't be reinvesting.
Tomarrow I should be getting paid out. No question, it will last another 24 hours.

Although FH is still doing pretty good with a 32% payout to deposit percentage and are still advertising on TalkGold, I have decided to withdraw all my money.
I actually made $1.20 in ref commission so I withdrew $14.20 (I turned $10 into $13). The reason I decided to withdraw was because I felt I made plenty of profit from this HYIP and was satisfied with my earning.
With my initial investment of $20 I managed to get $9 in pure profit with $1.50 in ref commission. It is all in my eGold account at this time.

Retrospective Analysis of HourlyTrust Investment
I hate to say this but looking back on my investment into HourlyTrust my greed (and also a little arrogance) got the better of me.
What went through my head when I was deciding whether to invest in the 24 hour plan or the 48 hour plan was that I didn't think I'd be on when my investment matured for the 24 hour plan and wouldn't be able to reinvest right away so I went with the 48 hour plan. This was even after I knew that the extra profit wasn't even close to worth the risk.
That was just an excuse I made to allow myself to be greedy plus I thought there was no way it would close within 48 hours which was my arrogance talking.
If I had invested in the 24 hour plan I would have definitely withdrew right away and probably would have got my money too.
So this was the one time so far when my emotional control really faultered. But the important thing is that I learned from my mistake which I certainly have. Admitting I was wrong here is also a pretty important step.
So when I found FirmHYIP I began having the same thoughts but refrained from investing in the 2 or 3 day plans and just went with the shortest one. It's always a good idea to invest in the shortest plan possible and then after that investment matures reassess the program to see if you'd like to reinvest or not.
I also changed up my strategy a little bit and went with a $20 investment instead of a $10 one which happened to be 16% of my total eGold balance. Although I was risking a greater amount, I felt the odds of this program collapsing in 24 hours was very unlikely based off of all the other HYIPs I've followed (a lot more than I've reviewed here).
I aslo had the sense to withdraw a large chunk of this investment as soon as possible to further reduce the risk of adding so much money.
As of now it still looks great and it's looking like I may be reinvesting in FirmHYIP again, that's after I withdraw enough to be in profit though.

The payout to deposit percentage is 33.5% but again these stats were altered a least once to a pretty extreme degree and made have been changed to some degree after that first time also.

My $20 investment grew to $26.30. I decided to reinvest $10 of that and withdrew the remaining $16.30. By the way that $16.30 hit my eGold account almost instantly after I requested withdrawl. This is very, very good.
30 cents of that $16.30 was also a ref commission from a signup under me.
I decided to reinvest in FH because the payout to deposit percentage is only 24.3%. That's about normal (maybe a little on the high side) for a HYIP just starting off. People are also really positive in the forums and are getting their withdrawls.
Once a HYIP makes it through the first day with a pretty good percentage, it can usually run for a couple more days therefore I reinvested.
We'll just have to see how it goes. Stay tuned.

At this point I'm not even sure it's worth continuing my tracking of SolaHYIP since they have altered their stats and may still be doing it in a less noticeable way.

Their payout to deposit percentage has risen 10% up to 33.5%. Short of altering the stats again I don't think SolaHYIP will be able to recover from this beginning upward climb in their payout to deposit percentage but it'll be interesting to see.

Unit purchases are picking up again and this third offering is almost completely out now. Everything still on the up and up and I don't see them going down within the next few days thereby making it very likely that I will get my return of 150% on my $10 investment.

I decided to do things a little bit different with this HYIP instead of investing a lower amount for a longer time I decided to invest a higher amount for a shorter time. I have invested $20 in the 130% after 1 day plan.
This is something I learned from my HourlyTrust investment, which I will be making a more detailed post on today or tomarrow.
So far the response on the forums has been very positive plus the admin is a member of many HYIP monitors (even though this part doesn't make that much difference).
I'm very confident in this investment.
SolaHYIP Altered The Payout Stats!
This was very suprising to find out and I can't believe I didn't suspect something before, but it is obvious that SolaHYIP altered their stats at least once.
If you've been following my blog you noticed how suprised I was when the payout to deposit percentage dropped from 40% to 23% from August 1st to August 2nd. I simply couldn't understand how it dropped so strongly so late in the game.
Here are the following stats that the admin himself even posted on the forums:
7/31:

As you can clearly see from 8/1 to 8/2 the Payout stats were reduced by over $7,000. Not only is a reduction of $7,000 in payouts not possible but payouts surely would have increased by many thousands over that period of time.
I am not defaming SolaHYIP in any way, merely pointing out information that was even posted by the admin himself (check between pages 11 and 12 on the SolaHYIP thread at Talkgold).
Now I know most HYIPs and HYIP admins are pretty shady people who run programs that scam loads of money from people but altering the stats to make it appear that your HYIP is doing better than it really is is a completely new low.
I personally challenge the admin of SolaHYIP to come to my blog and post a comment explaining exactly how it would be possible for something like this to happen.Although I can't see any plausible excuse for this, it would be interesting to hear what the admin has to say.
I'm very suprised that SolaHYIP managed to get away with this alteration for so long and ashamed that I didn't catch it myself sooner.
Anyway, I will be revealing this information on MMG and TG shortly and it will likely cause almost all new deposits to halt and the program to close down in a couple days if not sooner. This may not be the case but from my experience I don't see any other direction this could go.
Many people will also probably be very mad at me but I'd rather bring this up now then down the road when thousands of more people would be affected.
Suprisingly enough I am still an active member in SolaHYIP but I don't care about any extra money I may lose out on. Altering stats is very low and very dispicable even for a HYIP and needs to be brought to people's attention.

The payout to deposit percentage has fallen some more down to 23.6%. What's amazing is that in just the last 24 hours $45,000 has been deposited into SolaHYIP. That's more than most people earn in a year. Membership also grew by over 500 people.
I'm amazed that SolaHYIP is bringing in so much money and frankly am not sure exactly what they are doing (if they're even doing anything at all). All I know is that these admins are going to be filthy rich when they decide to run with the money.

HYIP Investing Is Very Time Consuming
This last week and a half has been a pretty wild ride with me putting my HYIP strategy to some serious and heavy testing.
So far I really like the results I'm getting and am really liking my strategy but unfortunately it takes a lot of time to keep up with everything.
Between this blog, looking for HYIPs, reading through and posting on the forums, and doing all the necessary research I was spending a good hour and a half to 2 hours every day for awhile there which is a huge portion of my available free time.
Unfortunately this was getting too taxing and even affecting how much sleep I was getting so although I think this is great and would love to keep going full board adding 1 or 2 new HYIPs every couple days, it just isn't practical for me.
That being said, this blog will continue to run and I'll continue to post updates and join new HYIPs but it won't be nearly as frequent as the last week and half. In fact, I'll probably only be looking for new HYIPs over the weekend when I have more available free time.
It was nice to get the jumpstart that I did, I've already joined 5 different programs, but I'm going to have to start going at a slower pace from now on.
I just thought I'd let all my readers know this and for all those who are interested in becoming serious HYIP investors you now know that it can be time consuming.

Wow, it's amazing the fluctuations that are occuring with SolaHYIP payout to deposit percentage. It has now dropped all the way back down to 26%. I'm pretty suprised. I feel this may be due to the first group of people who invested at the start in Plan B reinvesting their money in addition to new investments.

I was paid $11.56 off of my $10 investment after all fees from HyipoMagic for a profit of $1.56.
I was also paid $12.29 off of my $5 investment after all fees in SolaHYIP for a profit of $7.29. My other $10 SolaHYIP Investment has also almost broken even with $9.50 hitting my account after all fees. I won't tally this into my total eGold balance until SH goes under though.
And then of course I lost $10 in Hourly Trust.

Scammed By HourlyTrust
Unfortunately I never got my pay out from hourly trust. I got an email saying I was paid but no actual payment.
Why HT would have went down now is beyond me. The admins would have been lucky to break even if all their startup costs were taken into account.
I think one problem that turned people off was the slow loading site. Being that I have cable I don't really give much thought about that but lots of HYIP investors out there probably have dialup. If it takes 10-15 seconds to load the site using cable, it would probably never load on dialup.
This is not an excuse by the way, I'm just thinking out loud so I can add this to my notes and make sure to be more wary of very slow loading sites because it can have a profoundly negative impact.
As far as me losing $10 to HT, sometimes that's going to happen. That's why I have money management measures in place. Although it does suck, that's all part of investing. Just like with Day Trading you have to expect to lose and be prepared for it.
I got some more payouts but I'll make a seperate post for that and use that post to update on my new stats.
